Live The Dream

The Siyadlala Football Academy (SFA) was established January 2011 and operates under Siyadlala Sports Management, based in Nelspruit, Mbombela in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa focusing on the football coaching and development of young soccer players. SFA also operates in Hazyview, White River and Bushbuckridge with club houses in Graskop and Nelspruit. We have a strong desire to promote and encourage football development at a grassroots level in South Africa.

We have realized that in order for our standard of soccer performance at domestic and international level to improve, a solid and sustainable talent development system has to be developed and implemented which will serve as a feeding scheme to the national soccer leagues and the overseas market.

Philosophy: We believe that children must learn while having fun in a good and safe environment. The player is the main actor, not the coach and not the team as we focus more on the individual than the team because development is a personal process. Ball control and/or mastery is our number one training area as we want all our players to be comfortable with the ball.

We do as our name says "Siyadlala" which means we play/we are playing so all players are encouraged to play more and not just kick the ball forward. We are ultimately guided by FIFA and SAFA's football principles.

Education: We believe that education is number one so we partner with various schools to ensure that our players excel first on their studies then football.
